Want an internship? Become a Fellow!

California State University of Sacramento's Capital Fellows Program is a great opportunity for recent college graduates of any major or field of interest! I encourage students to consider applying to this program, especially those who are thinking about taking some time off before they go to law school or any other graduate school program!

It is nationally recognized and very prestigious.  There are 4 different fellowships one can apply to:
  • Jesse M. Unruh Assembly Fellowship
  • Executive Fellowship
  • Judicial Administration Fellowship
  • California Senate Fellows

a select number of students who are selected to each program Assembly, Executive, Senate=18 Fellows.  Judicial=10 Fellows.

Fellows work for 10-11 months, receive benefits and a monthly stipend of $1972.  Graduate students enrolled at Sacramento State can receive credits for their participation!

The application deadline for 2012-2013 is February 12, 2012.  The application should be come available fairly soon (Fall 2011).

If this is something that is of interest to you I would suggest looking at the website and contacting the fellows program to get more information.  Also keep checking the website for the release of the application!
